Dr Thomas Hess

Dr Thomas Hess completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland in 1998. He went on to undertake his registrar and residency training at the Mater Children’s Hospital, which included an intensive care rotation and multiple aero-medical retrievals. Tom began his radiology registrar training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2003 which saw him undertake training terms in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and intervention. In 2007, Tom traveled to Vancouver, Canada to complete a general pediatric fellowship at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital. The focused terms covered within the fellowship included; neurology, body, cardiac and intervention as well as clinico-radiology presentation and assessment of cases comprising neonatology, intensive care, oncology, orthopaedics and emergency.

Tom currently holds positions as a Pediatric Radiologist at the Royal Children’s and the Mater Children’s Hospitals as well as being a Partner and Radiologist at Qscan Radiology Clinics.
