Dr Stephen Drew completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1995, followed by internship and residency at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, one of Australia's largest hospitals with a comprehensive scope of clinical services.
Stephen completed his specialist training in Radiology at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in 2004 and subsequently went on to complete a Fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the New York University Medical Center, one of the most prestigious Radiology Departments in the United States. During his training Stephen has worked with some of the world's finest radiologists in the area of Body Imaging.
Stephen has a keen research interest in the field of Hepatic Imaging and was a prize-winner at both the 2004 meeting of the Radiological society of North America (RSNA) and the 2005/2006 meeting of the Society of Computed Body Tomography and MRI (SCBTMR). Stephen has also recently had his work presented at the ISMRM meeting in 2006.
He is currently a Consultant Radiologist at the Logan Hospital and a Visiting Medical Officer at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Steve has an interest in abdominal and pelvic imaging and emerging MRI techniques in all radiological subspecialties.
Stephen looks forward to offering patients and referring clinicians the most advanced diagnostic medical imaging techniques available.
