Healthy Bones action week runs from 20th August – 26th August 2018 to raise awareness of Bone Health and Osteoporosis. Established in 1994, Healthy Bones spreads the knowledge of Osteoporosis as it is one of the least- discussed, undiagnosed and untreated diseases in Australia.
Protecting your bones from osteoporosis can start from any age. Developing the foundations of healthy bone growth as a child to maintaining the strength and density of your bone mass as an adult is vital to protect your bones from osteoporosis and avoidable fractures.
Healthy Bones encourages all ages to take 3 simple actions to help with prevention.
