Local organisation, Qscan Radiology, finalist in AGPAL and QIP Excellence Awards

In April 2018, Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP) announced the finalists of the AGPAL and QIP Excellence Awards. Qscan Radiology was announced as one of the finalists in the QIP Chair Health Service of the Year Award category.

Across Australia there are many general practices making a daily commitment to providing high quality health care. QIP acknowledges, appreciates and is committed to recognising the dedication and effort these health care teams make toward continuous quality improvement.

Dr Stephen Clark, Chief Executive of QIP said that QIP had received a number of outstanding nominations from QIP accredited health services.

“The QIP Excellence Awards recognise and reward the commitment that health services make to quality improvement within the health care setting. The nominations process has allowed me the privilege to gain a unique insight into the inspiring achievements taking place across the Australian health care environment” he said.

I thank all of the health services who have shared their inspiring and innovative stories of quality improvement. Congratulations to Qscan Radiology for being selected as a finalist for the QIP Chair Health Service of the Year Award” Dr Clark said.

To be selected as a finalist, Qscan Radiology had to submit a nomination form self-assessing against key criteria. The judging process was vigorous with a large number of nominations received.

The Excellence and Highly Commended Recipients of the QIP Chair Health Service of the Year Award will be announced at the AGPAL and QIP 2018 Conference in Melbourne. The AGPAL and QIP Excellence Awards will be presented at the Conference Gala Dinner on Friday 18 May 2018.
