A current examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) Dr Rouse completed his basic medical training in 1993. In 2000 Dr Rouse completed his Radiology training with an interventional radiology fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Since 2000 Dr Rouse was working and teaching at St George Hospital Sydney as well as Sutherland & the Wollongong & Illawarra network of hospitals in both the public & private sectors.

John has an active interest in research & continuing education having hosted many multidisciplinary meetings & with ongoing commitment to the Rural GP Register Training with future presentations planned. Dr Rouse commenced with Alpenglow Australia as a reporting Radiologist in 2007.
