It’s important to keep your medical appointments during COVID-19

If your health professional has referred you for an x-ray, scan, ultrasound or any other medical imaging service we provide, it is because they require more information on your health and wellbeing. Unfortunately the pandemic is causing patients to unnecessarily delay these appointments due to confusion and concern, which can be detrimental for your health and wellbeing.

What should I do if I have been referred for a scan or imaging appointment?

Please book your scan as normal by calling your local clinic. It is still safe to see us and we have ensured that all our clinics are following Australian Department of Health guidelines. Your appointment will take place with strict Covid preventative measures in place as medical imaging is considered an essential medical service across Australia. When booking, our staff will advise you of any extra preventative measures put in place in that area to ensure all staff and patients safety.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, let your health provider know when they refer you for medical imaging, or when making your appointment with us.

Your medical imaging appointments form part of your important proactive and preventative health care plan and it’s important you book and attend these as requested. If you have any questions, please speak to your health care professional.
