Dr Corey Thompson is a dual-trained Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine Specialist at Qscan Radiology Clinics, based on the Sunshine Coast. He completed his radiology training at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne in 2022, followed by a two-year Nuclear Medicine fellowship. His first fellowship year was at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, focusing on PET, therapy/theranostics, and general nuclear medicine. He then completed his second year at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, where he continues to practise.
Dr Thompson has a strong clinical interest in oncology and trauma imaging and is actively involved in malignant haematology and head and neck multidisciplinary meetings. He is also committed to medical education and supports junior doctors and registrars throughout their radiology training.
