Dr Aakash Mahajan areas of expertise and special interest include Neuroradiology, Head and Neck imaging, MRI and Cardiac CT. Dr. Mahajan is also very experienced in musculoskeletal & spinal injections.

Dr. Mahajan completed his medical schooling (MBBS) and speciality radiology training MD (Radiodiagnosis) in 2004. He obtained an additional radiology qualification FRCR awarded by the Royal College of Radiologists UK in 2011. He completed his Neuroradiology Fellowship in Foothills Medical Centre, Canada in 2012.

Dr. Mahajan worked as a consultant with Queensland X-ray for 3 years before moving to Canberra in 2017 and has been associated with UMI since then. He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. He is credentialed with level A RANZCR Conjoint Committee on CTCA and also works for ACT breast screen.
