Dr David Simpson (MBBS, FRANZCR) completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1992, followed by his Internship at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

David completed his Specialist Radiology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in 2000. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of Toronto Canada incorporating The Western Princess Margaret and Mt Sinai Hospitals in 2000 and 2001. The Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship included all imaging modalities with a particular interest in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). His training encompassed all aspects of musculoskeletal pathology including sports injuries, degenerative and inflammatory processes and bone and soft tissue tumours. He has had journal articles published in Radiology and the Canadian Journal of Surgery.

David returned to Brisbane in 2001 and has been working as a private radiologist in both hospital and non hospital radiology clinics since. His subspecialty interests include Musculoskeletal Radiology, Sports Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and image guided Musculoskeletal injections.
