John completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2007 and then went onto complete dual training in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine in 2016 before becoming the Director of Nuclear Medicine at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in early 2017.

John is also involved in Radiology training, currently holding the position of Network Training Director for the Sunshine Coast Radiology training hub and has a special interest in Oncology imaging, particularly of thoracic and head and neck malignancies.
