dDr Leonard Bank was the Medical Director of Chatswood Diagnostic Centre for 23 years. He completed
his radiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne and went on to do a paediatric fellowship in
radiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Sydney. After gaining experience in the public hospital
system as a staff specialist at Nepean Hospital where he was responsible for the day to day running of the Medical Imaging department, he decided that a more personal approach was needed and opened
Chatswood Diagnostic Centre in 1993.

Leonard is at the forefront of Radiology with special interests in low dose CT, Coronary Angiography,
Virtual Colonoscopy and Image guided steroid injections and biopsies.
He has also held public offices including:

• 1993-1995 ASUM NSW Branch Secretary
• 2000-2004 AMA Federal Councillor
• 2005-2007 AMA Councillor NSW Branch
• 2022 -2022 President Kuringai District Medical Assoc.
