Dr Marianne Cossens completed her medical degree at Bond University in 2012, where she was placed on the Dean’s Commendation List. She then undertook her residency at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Gold Coast University Hospital, before completing her radiology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in 2022. In 2022, she also commenced a body imaging fellowship with Qscan.

In addition to her medical degree, Marianne has undergraduate qualifications in optometry from the Queensland University of Technology, where she graduated with Honours and a prize for clinical excellence.

Marianne’s subspecialty interests include body MRI, women’s imaging, and neuroimaging. She also enjoys teaching registrars and junior doctors, and has lectured in surgical anatomy at the University of Queensland on a number of occasions.
