Dr Sam Davis (MBBS, FRANZCR) is a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist practicing at Qscan Radiology Clinics and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Sam graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2006, following completion of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging.

Sam completed his specialist training in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane. He then undertook additional training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital with an advanced fellowship in Interventional Radiology during 2015, encompassing hepatobiliary, urological, vascular and oncology interventions.

Sam’s major sub-specialty interests cover diagnostic and interventional radiology with a focus on CT, MRI and ultrasound imaging of the chest, abdomen and vascular system, and management of related conditions.

Currently working as a hospital Staff Specialist, Sam has an ongoing interest in providing education to junior doctors and other health professionals, as well as contributing to research. Sam is currently involved in a clinical trial of a new treatment of liver tumours and a study of new ultrasound techniques assessing liver fibrosis.
