Dr Sean Robison (BAppSc, MBBS, FRANZCR) obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the Australian National University in 2008. He undertook his specialist radiology training at Austin Health, Melbourne, during which time he completed a Master of Medicine (Radiology) at Melbourne University. Since qualifying, Sean has obtained fellowships in Breast Imaging at Northwest Breastscreen, Melbourne, and Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University of Toronto, Canada. Sean has a strong research grounding, having presented research findings at international conferences and he has first author publications in international journals.
Sean has a particular subspeciality interest in breast imaging with skills in all breast imaging modalities and biopsy techniques. He has additional interests in chest and cardiac imaging, he holds CTCA accreditation, and he has undertaken a Visiting Fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging with ProScan Imaging in Cincinnati, USA.
Sean joined Qscan Group in 2022 and holds appointments at ACT Health and ACT Breastscreen. He has strong links to the breast oncology team and contributes to numerous multidisciplinary team meetings. He has an interest in junior doctor and staff education, and regularly contributes to the education of other medical professionals in the ACT. In his spare time, he loves road cycling and exploring the hills around Canberra and beyond.
