Dr Susan Ly (BSc (Med), MBBS, FRANZCR) obtained her medical degree from the University of NSW in 2001, this was followed by an internship and residency at Westmead Hospital in Sydney.

Susan undertook her radiology training at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, NSW. In 2010, she completed a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship with Qscan Radiology Clinics.

Susan has been working with Qscan Radiology Clinics as a consultant radiologist since 2013. Her subspecialty area of interests are Musculoskeletal Radiology, Sports Medicine Imaging and Intervention, Spinal Imaging and Intervention, as well as Rheumatology and Arthritis Imaging.

Susan is based on the Gold Coast, where she is actively involved in teaching radiology registrars, medical students, as well as other medical and allied health professionals. Susan chairs a regular multidisciplinary Musculoskeletal Imaging meeting attended by Rheumatologists, Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgeons, as well as Sports Medicine Physicians from around the Gold Coast.

Susan is committed to providing the highest quality subspecialty Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine Imaging service to patients and referrers of Qscan Radiology Clinics and has completed a Master of Sports Medicine at the University of Queensland, she continues to be actively involved in research and education through her relationship with the University of Queensland.
