Yes, Qscan Clayfield offers MRI scans with extended appointment hours from 6:30am-6pm on weekdays, making it easier to book before or after work. A referral is required to schedule an MRI. Please let us know at the time of booking if you suffer from claustrophobia. Our MRI scanner offers you a wide bore, reduced noise and faster scan times for patient comfort.   
 

Absolutely. We regularly perform imaging for musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries. Services such as MRI, CT and ultrasound can assist in diagnosing joint, tendon or soft tissue issues. Our highly trained radiologists offer pain injections for most parts of the body. Yes. Qscan Clayfield offers extended MRI hours from 6:30am - 6pm on weekdays, which is ideal for before-work appointments.  

This depends on the type of scan you are having. Some procedures require fasting, while others do not. Our team will provide clear preparation instructions at the time of booking.

X-ray

Qscan Clayfield provides bulk billed, walk-in x-ray service, for general x-rays and ILO chest x-rays. ILO Chest x-rays are used to diagnose and manage a range of lung diseases caused by the inhalation of dust. Ultrasound

OPG, Lateral & PA Ceph 

OPG, Lat Ceph, and PA Ceph x-rays provide high-quality imaging for orthodontic assessments, dental evaluations, and dental treatment planning. These x-rays are essential for clear visualisation of the teeth, jaw, and facial structures. 

 

Interventional Radiology

At Qscan Clayfield, interventional radiology procedures such as joint injections, image-guided biopsies, and pain management treatments are available. These minimally invasive treatments are performed with advanced imaging technology to ensure accuracy and reduce recovery time. This also includes: 

  • EUFLEXXA® injections, which are used to help treat osteoarthritis pain in synovial joints, including the knees, hips, and shoulders. This procedure can supplement natural joint fluid to reduce discomfort and improve mobility.
