When attending your appointment, please bring your referral from your doctor, any relevant medical history, and your Medicare card (if applicable). For specific scans you may be asked to follow specific preparation instructions.
Yes, you are welcome to bring a family member or friend with you to your appointment for support. However, they may be asked to wait in the reception area during certain procedures for space and safety reasons.
Most images and reports will be available in the app and portal 7-14 days after your appointment. Your referring doctor will receive your results directly, and as a patient, you now have on-the-go access to your Qscan reports via smart phone, tablet or desktop through the Qscan Patient Results app or web portal.

Qscan Nerang offer reliable x-ray services, including ILO chest x-rays and general diagnostic imaging. Most x-rays don’t require an appointment, and Medicare-eligible patients can take advantage of bulk billing.

I have been having scans for various reasons over the last 6 years and have only recently visited this clinic and my experience was very pleasant, opposed to the bigger clinics where I feel rushed or uncomfortable. QScan Nerang was so pleasant, from the wonderful, kind and helpful ladies at the front desk, I noticed one of them helping a much older gentleman above and beyond through to my scan experience.
My Sonographer was Georgina and she made me feel exceptionally comfortable and was very kind and calm. Thank you Georgina - you are wonderful. Also a big thank you to the doctor onsite, Michelle, who had initiated that breast scans are to be checked by the Dr onsite once the scan has been completed & patient still onsite. Qscan have now implemented this practice across their clinics! This is such an important scan for women and the extra reassurance, care and aftercare is just superior. Thank you team!
