Frequently Asked Questions

Bulk billing is available when you have a Medicare‑eligible referral from a specialist. If your referral does not qualify, or for certain tracer types, a gap payment may apply.

A full PET-CT scan appointment typically takes between 2 to 3 hours - this includes tracer uptake time, waiting periods, scanning, and post‑scan processing.

PET‑CT (positron emission tomography - computed tomography) combines functional imaging with detailed anatomical information. It’s commonly used in oncology to detect cancer, determine how far it has spread, and assess how well treatment is working.

We’re open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
