Yes, walk-in x-ray services are available at Qscan Parkwood during standard opening hours. No booking is required, but you will need a valid referral.
Some imaging procedures may not be fully covered by Medicare, depending on the type of scan and your referral. Our team will confirm any out-of-pocket costs at the time of booking.
Please bring your referral, Medicare card, any relevant previous imaging, and any private health or concession cards. If specific preparation is needed, our team will let you know ahead of time.
Scan times vary depending on the procedure. For example, x-rays usually take just a few minutes, while MRI or CT scans may take longer. Our team will give you an estimate when booking.
Your results are sent directly to your referring doctor. Your results will be available 7-10 days after your examination in the Qscan Patient App and Portal. Please remember to always return to your referring doctor to discuss your results.
