At Qscan Surfers Paradise, we provide a full range of ultrasound services, delivered by our expert sonographers and interpreted by specialised radiologists. Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive imaging technique that uses sound waves to produce real-time images of the body without the need for radiation. This makes it ideal for patients of all ages, including pregnant women and children.

Our services include:

• Pregnancy ultrasound: including dating, morphology, and growth scans
• Vascular ultrasound: such as DVT studies and carotid imaging

At Qscan Surfers Paradise, dental imaging services include OPG, Lat Ceph and PA Ceph x-rays. These scans are commonly used in orthodontic assessments, surgical planning and general dental diagnostics to provide detailed views of the teeth, jaw and facial structures.

Interventional Radiology

Interventional radiology services at Qscan Surfers Paradise include a range of minimally invasive treatments. It is a medical subspecialty of radiology that uses minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases in nearly every organ system including, but not limited to vascular, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, genitourinary, pulmonary, musculoskeletal, and the central nervous system. This also includes:

• EUFLEXXA®, which is used to manage osteoarthritis by supplementing the joint’s natural fluid, helping to reduce pain and improve mobility. Ultrasound guidance may be used to ensure precise injection into the joint space.

Mammography

Mammography is used to examine breast tissue and can detect breast cancer before you show any visible signs or symptoms of the disease. It includes both routine screening and diagnostic imaging.

DEXA Body Composition
