Ultrasound
At Qscan Windsor, we provide a wide selection of ultrasound services, all performed by our experienced sonographers and reviewed by specialist radiologists. Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive imaging technique that uses sound waves to generate real-time images of the body’s internal structures, without the use of radiation. This makes it suitable for all patients, including children and expectant mothers.
Our services include:
- Pregnancy ultrasound: including dating, morphology, and growth scans
- Vascular ultrasound: such as DVT studies and carotid imaging

- Pelvic ultrasound: for gynaecological and abdominal imaging
- Elastography: assessing tissue stiffness
An appointment and referral are required for ultrasound exams. Bulk billing is available for eligible Medicare-covered scans.

Available services include CT calcium scoring to assess heart disease risk, cone beam CT for focused head and neck imaging, and CT Dentascan for detailed dental assessment. All scans are performed using low-dose protocols.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to create clear, detailed images of the inside of your body. It is commonly used to assess the brain, spine, joints, abdomen and pelvis, among other areas.MRI does not use ionising radiation and is helpful in diagnosing a wide range of conditions.
