What is Harmony Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT)?
The Harmony Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT) is a screening test that analyses DNA from a blood sample. This test helps find out the baby's sex. It also checks for common chromosomal conditions. These include Down Syndrome, Edwards Syndrome, Patau Syndrome, and DiGeorge Syndrome in a developing fetus.
You can combine the NIPT with a nuchal translucency scan for comprehensive first-trimester screening. To book, simply get a referral from your doctor and contact us. Unfortunately, you cannot book the NIPT test online.

The Harmony Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT):

Booking Instructions
1. Discuss with your GP if NIPT is right for you. The referral form can be downloaded here
2. Book your Harmony NIPT with the clinic directly. This should be between 10-14 weeks of gestation
3. After the scan go to Clinical Labs Patient Harmony to pay and get your test code. (Prices available at the Clinical Labs website)
4. Blood samples are collected onsite by our highly trained Qscan sonographers
5. Results will be sent to your GP in 5-10 days
The Harmony NIPT cannot be combined with a pelvic scan. However, you can combine Harmony NIPT with a nuchal translucency scan for comprehensive first-trimester screening.
