Ultrasound
At Qscan Carindale, we offer a wide range of ultrasound services, all performed by skilled sonographers and interpreted by specialist radiologists. Ultrasound is a non-invasive, safe imaging method that uses sound waves to capture real-time images of the body, without any radiation exposure. This makes it ideal for patients of all ages, including children and expectant mothers.

OPG, Lateral & PA Ceph

Interventional Radiology
Qscan Carindale offers image-guided interventional procedures such as joint injections, spinal pain management and biopsies. These minimally invasive techniques are performed by experienced radiologists using real-time imaging to guide precise treatment. This also includes:

DEXA Body Composition

BMD (Bone Mineral Densitometry)
Bone mineral densitometry (BMD) uses a type of x-ray called dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry to assess bone mineral density and can be used to diagnose osteoporosis and assess fracture risk. The results support preventative care and help guide long-term management of bone health.
Qscan was recommended by my specialist and I think it’s great. I did ultrasound and MRI a few times here. MRI is not bulk billed as well as ultrasound you have to pay out of pocket fee.
There are many branch in different locations but only some branches have MRI so you need to call to check.
Do not bother with booking with the intercom , it’s useless Just go there with your referral and book at the reception is easier.

Attended QSCAN Carindale yesterday for an MRI for my teenage daughter. The entire process was efficient and friendly. We were taken care of by Gary, and he made my daughter feel very comfortable and relaxed with the whole process. He was very patient, even when one area needed to be re-scanned due to slight movement. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to the team at QSCAN Carindale.
I've been there for everything from MRI to your regular X-Rays. Each time they've been professional, accommodating, accept bulk billing, and I never encountered any issues. Nothing bad to say about them.
I can only say THANK YOU. I visited this clinic twice, but unfortunately, my claustrophobia and panic attacks prevented me from having an MRI. However, Josh and the other technician (I can’t remember his name) were fantastic. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and reassuring throughout the entire process, which made me feel less alone in my experience.
I called and spoke to Hamenda (apologies if spell wrong) she is really lovely, kind and professional. Explained everything very clearly and perfectly. Feels very comfortable and relaxed.
