Yes, you’ll need a valid referral from your GP or specialist for all scans at Qscan Cleveland.
Yes, bulk billing is available for most Medicare-eligible services at Qscan Cleveland. Selected CT-guided pain management injections may also be bulk billed for eligible patients. If your appointment requires an out-of-pocket fee, our team will confirm any costs with you at the time of booking.
We offer same-day appointments for urgent imaging where possible. Contact our clinic directly, and our team will do their best to accommodate your needs promptly.
As a patient, you now have on-the-go access to your Qscan reports via smart phone, tablet or desktop through the Qscan Patient Results app or web portal. Most images and reports will be available in the app and portal 7-14 days after your appointment.

X-ray
Qscan Cleveland offers fast, walk-in x-ray services using advanced digital technology to create images of the body's internal structures and tissues, like bones and organs. X-rays help assist in diagnosing bone fractures, dental issues, foreign objects in the body, and different illnesses or injuries.
No appointment is needed for most general x-rays, and bulk billing is available for Medicare-eligible scans. Our experienced radiologists ensure timely, accurate reporting, all in a convenient local clinic with free on-site parking.
Ultrasound
Qscan Cleveland provides a wide range of ultrasound services in a supportive and professional setting. Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive imaging technique that uses sound waves to produce real-time images - suitable for patients of all ages, including pregnant women and children. Our ultrasound services include:
- Pregnancy ultrasound – Including dating, morphology and growth scans.
- Vascular ultrasound – Including DVT studies and carotid imaging.
- Elastography – Assessing liver tissue stiffness.
CT Scans
Our CT scan services at Qscan Cleveland include CT calcium scoring (CTCS), a non-invasive assessment of coronary arteries. CTCS can help determine if arteries are blocked or narrowed by the build-up of calcified plaque, which is a marker for coronary artery disease or atherosclerosis. We also offer CT dentascan, which provides detailed 3D imaging to assess impacted teeth, and to diagnose disease of the teeth or jaw, which may require dental or surgical treatment.
OPG, Lateral & PA Ceph
Qscan Cleveland offers specialised dental imaging services including OPG, Lat Ceph and PA Ceph scans. These low-dose x-rays provide detailed views of the upper and lower jaw. They can be a useful diagnostic tool for dentists and orthodontists, used to check for impacted wisdom teeth, checking the development of teeth in children, and general screening as part of your dental check-up. OPG x-rays show the number, position and growth of your teeth, and can be useful when assessing teeth that have not surfaced yet.
Interventional Radiology
Qscan Cleveland offers a range of interventional radiology services, including image-guided procedures such as joint injections, biopsies and pain management techniques. These minimally invasive treatments are performed by experienced radiologists using advanced imaging technology. Services include:
- EUFLEXXA®, an injection that may assist in relieving osteoarthritis pain in synovial joints such as the knees, hips and shoulders.
