About

Dr Gavin Mackie has been a radiologist with Qscan Radiology Clinics since 2018. He completed his medical degree in 1991 at the University of Melbourne followed by an internship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Gavin undertook radiology training in Tasmania at the Royal Hobart Hospital. He then completed his first year of nuclear medicine training at St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne before completing his final year of training at the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. 

Gavin worked for four years at the University of Missouri and the Ellis Fischel Cancer Centre in Columbia, Missouri before returning to Tasmania.
