Dr. John Galligan is a Cardiologist who recently returned to Tasmania after advanced fellowship training in Melbourne and London.
Originally from Tasmania, John has subspecialty expertise in Cardiac Imaging (CT and MRI) and Congenital Cardiology.
John trained in Cardiac CT and Echocardiography at Monash Hospital before completing a fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
He then pursued further subspecialty training in London, undertaking fellowships in Adult Congenital Cardiology and Cardiac MRI at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
While his primary interests lie in Cardiac Imaging and Congenital Cardiology, John takes pride in being a well-rounded General Cardiologist. Through his extensive training and professional network, he ensures that even the most complex cases are approached with expert collaboration when needed.
